About WCC

Waterford Camera Club was founded in 1972. We are affiliated to the Southern Association of Camera Clubs (SACC) and also to the national body the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF).  We have in excess of 50  members and welcome new members twice a year - in January and September.

We meet every fortnight on Monday evenings throughout the Club year which runs from January to December.  We also have occasional outings for members at evenings and weekends.  Please check the Calendar page for details of dates or use the Contact Us link to get in touch.

Meetings generally begin at 7 pm with novice/intermediate tutorials followed by the main meeting for all members at 8pm.  Members are a mix of all skill levels from beginner to advanced and use all types of equipment from point and shoots to top of the range DSLRs.

The current Membership Fee is €50 (1st Jan - 31st Dec) with a €5 fee for attendance at meetings.

Waterford Camera Club has had great success both regionally and nationally over the years both as a Club and at individual level.  We are a club with high ambitions mixed with a friendly and social atmosphere and a willingness to help all our new and existing members to improve and most of all ENJOY their photography.

If you are over 18 years old and have an interest in photography, please come along and join us for an evening where you will be guaranteed a warm welcome!
