(Photographer of the Year)

The Club Photographer of the Year competition is run throughout the Club year.  Both themed and open challenges are given and points are accumulated on an ongoing basis.  Awards are presented at the end of the Club year.  Further information about the rules of the competition can be found in the Members Area.

Suir Valley Challenge (Carrick Camera Club)

The Suir Valley Photographic Challenge is an annual competition organised by Carrick Camera Club.  The competition involves Carrick, Waterford, Thurles, formerly Clonmel, and currently Dungarvan Camera Clubs.  The themes for 2021 can be seen here.

(Southern Association of Camera Clubs)

The SACC runs a number of photographic competitions throughout the year, both for individual competitors and for clubs.

(Irish Photographic Federation)

The IPF run a number of competitions during the year. The two main club competitions are the National Shield competition held in November and the National Club Championships, held in April. In addition, there are two individual competitions, the Print & Projected Images competition and the National Nature competition. Both of these are by individual entry.
